I'm a friend of Doug's. I've been keeping an eye out for your post. How did you do this week? I took a beating on CNX and MON amongst others. Got in on SOHU and ADBE puts. I'll be looking for something different to happen next week like my calls go up and puts go down not visa-versa. Tell Doug I said "Hi" and have a great holiday!!

I mentioned on one of the other threads... I've been using MyTrade since some time last year. Maybe they wanted to test it before they integrated it into the thinkDesktop. Some of the components that were there are not there any more though, like some of the IT stuff. But all the RSS feeds like to Jeff's site and some of the others were there when I first checked out MyTrade. I'm thoroughly confused by this but cool.

I don't know, I plan on doing some fun experiments with some fireworks tomorrow. Its so great to live right next to a state that sells fireworks when your own doesn't.

You can download TOS platform for free, but you'll get delayed data unless you open an account. They have a paper trading setup to so you can use that to trade and figure out what various commissions will be.

I'm not so sure the coal sector is done. Is China going to just stop putting another coal plant online every week? Are they going to just turn off the lights and stop burning coal on all the plants they added in the last year? I think traders will figure this out sooner rather than later... probably after reflection this weekend in fact. They'll take a deep breath, and go back to what has worked.

That's my non-technical, fundamentalist opinion, but I didn't see Jeff offer a technical reason for his reversal on these, so I can only assume his reversal was out of impatience.
